There is something to be said about being a professional baby snuggler. It's pretty much the best job ever. For reals...
This past Christmas (well technically, it is still Christmas until tomorrow ... but you get what I mean) I was on Main Street ALOT for my kiddos to perform in the Lewis and Clark Fife and Drum Corps. I thought since I am down there, I might as well do mini sessions! Main Street is always perfectly decorated during Christmas. There is such a cheer that surrounds that place. Not like a mall where everyone is grumpy and mission oriented. It seems like the people on Main Street really soak up the season.
I just love it when a family really grasps who they are as a family and runs with that for a session. And when you have all boys, what do they usually love? Superheros. Jumping of things. Getting dirty. Looking cool.
It has been said that “when two people are in love, they can conquer the world.” Said by someone I once met, but I don’t remember who said it. But, take it from me. It was said. I see this in my work every time I get a couple in front of my lens.
It's no secret that I like to photograph large families. In fact I tend to know when my clients show up at a park that I have never met. They drive "the Catholic van" ...
