I was excited to have a chance to hang out with Staci and get to know a little about her Mompreneur life as a stylist with Stella & Dot, while photographing her at The Missouri Botanical Gardens! She is super sweet and loads of fun. Read on to get to know her!

If you haven't checked out Stella & Dot's amazing jewelry and accessories..., YOU SO NEED TO CLICK HERE! Here is ONE OF MY FAVORITES, AND ANOTHER, AND ANOTHER! Ok, I need to stop shopping! I know I promised that you would get to know Staci! I sent her a list of questions for her to answer for your reading please and here they are!

Why did you choose to start this company?

I believe in the mission of the company and wanted to create something of my own to help support my family and help us get out of debt.  The products are amazing and I loved that I can bring them to my customers at no risk. We have a great love it or send it back Delight Guarantee.

Do you have a storefront? Do you work from home?

I have a virtual storefront, but I can work from anywhere. The bread and butter of my job is the Trunk Show. It's getting ladies together for a 2 hour styling session which happens in kitchens, wine bars and patios all over which is definitely the most fun! The rest comes from anywhere there is internet service! Some days it’s at home, others it’s entering an order in the parking lot of a grocery store after striking up a conversation with a new customer inside.

Check out her jewelry! She sure knows how to style an outfit!

How do you balance it all?

Paraphrasing the words of the CEO of our company, Jessica Herrin, you learn to juggle and figure out which balls are glass and which are rubber.  Not everything will be perfect but sometimes you have to let go and focus on what is truly important at that moment in time.

What is one piece of advice you can give to any mom starting their business?

Do something you love and surround yourself with people who are there to support you and your personal goals!

What is the best aspect about having your own business?

I love being able to help people feel good about themselves and bring joy to their lives!

What is the part you struggle with the most in business?

I tend to set high goals and get frustrated when I don’t hit them - but I'm learning never to change the goal, just the time frame.

What did you wish you knew before starting a business?

You don’t have to be perfect from day 1, start small and be brave - put yourself out there!! Perfection

Such an inspiring person!

Now for my favorite part of getting to know Staci.... the FUN FACTS!

What do you love to do when you're not being supermom?

I love going out with my girlfriends and just relaxing and chatting - this past fall we were able to spend the night at a local hotel and we spent most of the time in the room catching up with one another!

What was your first job?

I started babysitting at the ripe old age of 11 and I continued until I was 24ish.

What celebrity would you love to have dinner with?

This is a tough one - there are several people for different reasons.  I think it would be fun to have dinner with Andy Cohen since he is from St. Louis and he seems to have met everyone from A list to D list celebrities and would probably have some entertaining stories to share including on the differences from Hollywood/New York to St. Louis.

What was the last book you read?

I’m currently reading On Fire by John O’Leary - if you are a fan of Dave Ramsey you may have heard of him or if you live in St. Louis, stories have been published and aired about him in the local papers, television and radio stations!

Is there any piece of advice, tips, events happening or discounts you would like to share with our readers?

I think as women grow we often think that we don't have a place to wear fashionable things or need this type of “extra” in our lives but my advice to all women is to never forget to take a little time for YOU. Pamper yourself! Carry the great bag, throw on the special earrings and go. You'd be surprised at how a handful of accessories can make you feel so put together even if you are in a t-shirt and jeans!  As for discounts....Stella & Dot has monthly trunk show exclusives that you can get for 50% off and fabulous hostess rewards where you earn free and half price items.  If you are interested in learning more follow me in one of my groups or send me a message.

Don't you just want to meet her?! So much fun!
