I know as a mom, your most prized accomplishment is your children. I spend most of my days in absolute awe that I am the mom to three (mostly) wonderful children. Some days, I wonder why God intrusted me with these guys, others... I am forever grateful! I am always within a moment that I tell myself "remember this moment, it won't last long" or I just sit and watch Dru, Brody and Carleigh Rose interact with each other and I just want to remember the way it is. Right then. So I snap. I want you to snap too. Each time your child is giggling so uncontrollably that everyone starts laughing and having no idea why. Each time you notice a light bulb go off above your child when they finally understand something. Each time they are so entirely grumpy that the only way out is an impromptu dance party. Of course I want you to snap, each time they come out of their bedroom dressed in such a crazy outfit (which totally captures their personality) that you just have to smile!
I have spent the last 11 years learning photography, and want to share what I know with women. Moms. Because we should snap. In this ever changing digital world, it is way to easy to let these times fly by. We should snap and print images that will be cherished forever. A DVD, or flash drive will become the 8 tracks of the next digital happenings. A book, a real book of images will always be there. Pictures on the wall will be seen, and the images on a hard drive will not. Why do I say all of this instead of trying to book you for a session? Because you need to learn to use your camera, for those small moments that you want to remember. The times when your child is quietly looking at books next to the window, I can't be there. You are! I want you to grab your camera and SNAP!! This class that will get you going in the right direction!
